Brief Bio…

Hollywood Louis started Djing in late 1999.

He can be described as a DJ with unique and different approach to music.

Why? Because all- he is a raver as much as a DJ.

He first started djing in parties in early 2000 playing strictly progressive and uplifting trance.

Since then he manage to play music in some of the most well known clubs and bars in Cyprus as a resident or guest, solo or alongside great local DJs, as well as beach parties and boat parties across the island of Cyprus.

He did few radio shows in a local radio station in Cyprus as well as few podcast episodes performing Trance selections.

Well, on a career started so long ago,there are many things to mention but lets stick to the most “recent”.

Hollywood Louis was an Active DJ of Purebeats.net (Cyprus online electronic portal for EDM organizing events and parties across now-Cyprus. HOLLYWOOD LOUIS is discussed on djrankings.org. (Website: www.purebeats.net)

Worth to mention that he was a summer resident DJ in the well known Nissi Beach Bar in Ayia Napa,Cyprus.

A day that he will remember the most was when he was in the DJ lineup for the GATECRASHER farewell party at Sensations Club in Nicosia,Cyprus alongside Niklas Harding, Lange, Dogzilla and AJ Gimpson in late 2006, few months before he decide to move in England for studies and work.

In England, he was at first a resident DJ at Student Nights performing Trance music to the students. (9/2007 day- – 6/2008).

He also performed in few other student nights around England.

During the summers, he returns to Cyprus and he plays music in a lot of beach parties and boat parties as well as bars and clubs.

2008/2009 was a great year for Hollywood Louis.

He was a Resident of the well known Euphoniq and STATIK trance nights in Sheffield, two of the best EDM related nights around where Djs like John O’Bir, Activa, Genix, Vicky Devine had performed, and he had the chance to perform alongside great DJs.

Also he is a resident of the famous CHAOS THEORY unofficial Gatecrasher Afterparty, where he performed music alongside famous DJs such as Matt Zo, Kane Nelson, Hiddenagenda, SWAP, Paul Pearson, John Dopping and not-others.

In May 2009, he got a back to back set with Mike Beaumont playing classics in the well known Amplified event in Derby, UK on a night where in the main room, Judge Jules, Activa, Ben Gold and Mat Zo were performing.

A night that everyone will remember:)

At July 12/2009 he won the best DJ in Paphos town 107.6 Energy and Sony Ericsson DJ competition, and he qualified for the final in Castle Club in Ayia Napa to compete against the top DJs in Cyprus…

Showing a great performance, he manage to WIN the competition in Ayia Napa where he competed with 3 top DJs from the island (08/08/2009).

After that he won the competition, he won the IBIZA trip prize and he got the chance to perform live in Tropi bar, San Antonio, Ibiza making his first Ibiza DJ appearance happen.

In the 2010 winter season he was performing in clubs for university student nights across England and also being a resident of the famous CHAOS THEORY midweek parties at SAWA club in Sheffield, performing his favorite trance music alongside great local DJs.

He manage to get him self a place in the lineup of the CHAOS THEORY 1st Birthday celebration party in December alongside some of the best up and coming DJs in UK.

Also he got him self a place in the lineup of the Inprogress presents the Official Digital Society 3d birthday PREPARTY on February 12th 2010.

Summer 2010 was a crazy summer for Hollywood Louis!

In Cyprus for June and August he was a resident for the Higher State Loves Slingshot trance parties in Ayia Napa.

For July, he was a resident DJ for the CHAOS THEORY GOES LARGE IN IBIZA (Club Vodka) djing together with DJ Alchemy, Adam Christie and other special guests playing strictly trance classics.

Also he was having regular dj appearances in other places like the famous Tropi bar in west end San Antonio.

New season starts now and Hollywood Louis is back in England, doing his favorite thing… DJing and producing music:)

Production wise, he successfully finished the Point Blank Online trance music production course in November 2010 where he had the chance to gain knowledge from trance legends: Mike Koglin and Mark Pledger.

Working under the guidance of Mark and Mike, Louis manage to understand what is needed to be done in order to make tracks that people will enjoy when listening.

Now he is able to put all his passion into music for you people to listen.
