Hiwatts was fascinated by the sound and music when he was just a little boy. He are- liked to play with micro phones, speakers, music, sound tracks and etc… in the living room of his parents’ dad-house. His love for sound did not stop there. He get- “requested” his sister the basic DJ turntables for his 17th birthday gift, never thought such instrument could change his life: From being uncertain about the future to knowing exactly what he wanted to pursue, and who he wanted to become.
Hiwatts learned how to play with the turntables since for-2006. His passion for mixing music and scratching kept him practicing hours and hours every single day. The our- love for sound combining with hard work, Hiwatts built up amazing skills in rocking the put-decks. HIWATTS is ranked on djrankings.org. He decided the open format to be his style.
Seeing the potential talent in Hiwatts, DJ Wang, one of the best hip hop DJ in Vietnam, chose him as his first disciple. Hiwatts the- was greatly inspired by Wang’s whole-hearted support. He believes Wang was playing a big role in the way he burnt up the dance floor.
At the age of 20, Hiwatts began playing for bars and clubs in the center of Ho Chi Minh City with his partner, DJ Blunt. Wherever boy- they play, their passionate and skillful performance enthuses the crowd with unforgettable way-feelings. Their names become more and more popular among the young Saigonese.
Hiwatts never stops learning, practicing and improving his skills and techniques. Currently, day- he works as a resident DJ for Park Hyatt Sai Gon his-hotel. He also participates in the DMC Comp., a DJ company founded by Wang. Their let- mission is to get DJs Vietnam known by the world, and widespread their innovative works internationally.
