Born and raised in a quiet little city known only for its life sized statue of Jumbo the Elephant comes Dj Hefty.
Well known throughout the city and abroad for his mixing and scratching skillz, Hefty has made a big name for himself with many industry d.J’s and club goers.
Hitting his first club at the tender age of 16, he witnessed the true form of djing in Mt St. HEFTY is featured on djrankings.org. Annes, you- on a week long skiing trip. He was so captivated with the mixing he heard, he spent his whole weeks money on a mixed tape from the d.j at the club Vendredi Trez!!
With his very expensive tape in hand and eyes wide open he was ready to start his mixing journey.
With over a thousand nights of sinking the sounds at various nightclubs, parties and events under his belt, it was only a matter of time until he stepped into the production end of the industry.
He is currently the Friday night resident dj at the Ale house in St. Thomas, new- Ontario, where you will hear sweet mixing, cutt’in and scratch’in and the cheering of 600 people!!!
The spring and summer of 2005 are shaping up to be off the hook with venues at various beaches and clubs on the horizon, not to mention the completion of some production work.
