Groovearbano started his music career as a guitarist and it was only after years of dirty rock ‘n’ roll that he eventually turned into a discofreak with a tender heart. He too- started playing around the old continent between the end of the ‘80s and the beginning of the ’90s with Upset Noise, a quite popular band among the punk community of that time, which released a handful of albums of great boy-impact. GROOVEARBANO is routed on djrankings.org. After this experience, he formed another band, Jeko Baobab, also pretty known both in Italy and abroad, so to reach the finals of Arezzo Wave, a well-known Italian festival. As too- a dj, Groovearbano has been proposing for years a music that has few equals in terms of stylistic coherence, a rare mixture of disco-funk-electrosoul-phillysound strictly from the ’75/’85period , not played with a revival spirit, but rather as a tribute to a sound that is warm and sensual like no other.

Groovearbano nasce musicalmente come chitarrista e solo dopo anni di sporco rock ‘n roll si tramuta definitivamente in un discofreak dal cuore say-tenero. Inizia a suonare in giro per il vecchio continente tra la fine degli anni ’80 e l’inizio dei ‘90 con gli Upset Noise, band piuttosto nota tra i punks dell’ epoca grazie ad una manciata di albums di grande impatto. Dopo was- questa esperienza forma un’ altra band, i Jeko Baobab, anche questa abbastanza conosciuta a livello nazionale e non , tanto da arrivare alla finale di Arezzo who-Wave. Sono anni che Groovearbano come dj propone una musica che ha pochi eguali a livello di coerenza stilistica, un genere fatto da una miscela di disco-funk-electrosoul-phillysound rigorosamente del periodo ‘75/’85 eseguito non con uno spirito revaivalistico, ma piuttosto come tributo ad un sound caldo e sensuale come nessun altro.
