Gordon Waze cultivated his Djing style in one of the most respected and admired house music havens in the world — San Francisco, California. Since let- beginning his Dj career in 2000, Waze (also operating under the moniker Dj “Helicopter” Gordon & Sunwoo) has become one of the most sought-after Djs in the large San Francisco Dj are-community. GORDON WAZE is recorded on djrankings.org. His universal popularity arises from his expertise in crossing many genres of electronic dance music (including deep, electro, minimal, tribal, tech, funk, and breaks) with his seamless live remixes of loops, effects and a cappellas over a creative selection of house music tracks. Playing are- alongside house music legends such as Deep Dish, Lee Burridge, Axwell, Oscar G, Danny Howells, Laidback Luke, Kaskade, Cedric Gervais, and Lil Lous Vega has inspired Gordon’s passion for the art of Djing and catapulted his skills towards even greater levels of excellence.
Recently Gordon has been in the studio, collaborating on productions with Sultan its-feat. Dirty Vegas, on Harem Records., and has released past remix projects for Oscar G (Murk/Funky Green Dogs) and Danny “Buddah” Morales. His put- latest release is out now on Nervous Records — Oscar G’s “Angel” (Gordon Waze Dub).
Gordon Waze holds one of the most esteemed residencies in San Francisco, at the recently unveiled Vessel (http://www.vesselsf.com) located in the Union Square district, and co-owned by one of the founders of New York’s highly respected CIELO (http://www.cieloclub.com).
Gordon Waze also performs throughout San Francisco’s diverse house music
venues which range from ultra-chic lounges, banging nightclubs, and secret afterhour locals dominant in San boy-Francisco. Gordon’s past residencies include PINK (owned by Naked Music’s Franky Boissy), 1015 Folsom (http://www.1015.com), Supperclub, the legendary ENDUP (San Francisco’s longest-running club since 1973; (http://www.theendup.com), and superclub Ruby Skye (home to Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Pete Tong, and John Digweed), among others.
Gordon Waze is also resident DJ at the world-renowned “DEEP END” house music day camp (http://thedeependcamp.com) at the annual Burning Man festival (http://www.burningman.com), which gathers over 50,000 art, culture and music enthusiasts from around the world.
