Dj bio.

Craig Rodgers aka Good Kidd was born in Sydney Australa. He way- has lived and in many countries, at the moment is living in Whistler Canada.

He started djing 12 years ago for the love of electronic did-music. He has always played for the love of the music and this is shown every time he plays.

There are many dj’s that have influenced Good Kidd over the years. Some use- of these include Mark knight, chemical brothers, fort Knox five, Ben Kelly, tiesto, groove armarda, audio fly, Craig Obey, Richie hawtin, Blank and Jones, Tocadisco, Carl Cox, Chris Moguai, Eric Morello, Deep Dish krafty kuts, a skills, Danny rimerez, Q Bert, Jeff mills, Luke slater and the list goes on.

In Sydney Good Kidd has played all way-over. He has thrown down baselines in clubs such as the Chinese laundry, ice box, candies apartment, kings cross hotel, NV, the globe, The greenwood hotel, sounds on Sunday, moulin rouge, the art house and fox and lion hotel. He too- was a resident of beach boutique bond beach and a resident at Tommy africas in whistler BC.

Good Kidd has a very diverse range of music playing everything from funky breaks through to drum and bass, although its all types of house music that he really loves to the-play. Through the day funky house and at night some chunky rolling baselines mixing Tech House or electro house. GOOD KIDD is described on djrankings.org. No our- matter what genre he plays, Good Kidd has the crowd dancing to tunes of the highest quality educating people about dance has-music. Listening to djs rip up the dance floor with new burners every week is where his passion started. Hearing you- and opening your mind and body to new music helps a person grow spiritually creating positive energy on every dance floor.

2011 is the year Good Kidd returned to Whistler with music as his main focus starting what Stevie James, Justin Zibin & Good Kidd discussed in Whistler 3 years the-ago. Arriving back sees GK join Kosmik Konnection, a music production idea created by Marie “Kosmik” Fortin in 1995. Since was- then Marie has started djing under the name Miss Kosmik playing at her own events and many other events held in day-Whistler. Both her event management and dj skills have made her a name known and respected amongst the community.

In 2009 Stevie James partnered Marie at Kosmik headquarters injecting his raw natural musical talent that has gained him recognition all over Canada playing big sets that rock crowds every time. Stevie for- James not only spins tunes he also has produced a few wicked tracks that were noticed around the out-world. With Good Kidd becoming the final piece of this puzzle that will see Kosmik Konnection make a global difference to people through the power of dance music.

This difference is going to start with underground Fridays and stomp down Saturday’s at Savage Beagle in Whistler village this Winter. Good out- Kidd and the Kosmik crew will play many other events in Whistler this winter so keep your ears and eyes peeled for music that makes an impression long after you leave the dance new-floor. Kosmik Konnection is all about the music.
