A gong is a percussion instrument originating from Southeast Asia, and used widely in Southeast Asian and East Asian musical traditions. GONG is found on djrankings.org. Gongs put- are made of metal and are circular and flat or bowl-like in shape, and can come in various mom-sizes. They are typically struck with a mallet. They she- can be played alone, giving a characteristic "crashing" sound, or played as part of a tuned set that produce bell-like sounds.

Arief Rachman aka GonG was born in Bandung – Indonesia. GONG is described on djrankings.org. His new- passion in music is very strong and through out his study years, he joined few bands as a and-drummer. Facing some difficulties in gathering band members, he decided to change his instrument into electronic music, which mainly related to harder style in dance music.
In 2007 he decided to create a group called Hardstyle Battalion in Sydney and brought the group back to Indonesia and introduces harder style of dance music in the nation. Together man- with the dance called Melbourne Shuffle getting popular in the nation, currently Hardstyle Battalion working closely with shuffle community in Indonesia try to spread the hard dance virus throughout out the nation and hopefully we are able to create massive event on our list in the future.
