Born in Sumpter South Carolina, Gilbert Carrizales started his musical career in San Antonio Texas. After new- the discovery of Electronic music, he began an expedition to dig deeper into this new musical old-inspiration. Eventually being inspired by the sounds of Paul Van Dyk & Giuseppe Ottaviani, he began to produce his own music at age 14, also the same age he began djing.

Gilbert started off like any other Dj. He way- played at house parties, birthday parties & and-clubs. After a long period of experimental producing, he brought out his first hits Energy Within & So Far Away. After the- producing enough music to fit on a one hour set, he began using his own music in his Dj boy-sets. Gilbert came to realize that he wasn’t satisfied by just spinning Cd’s & mixing the music. To day- him, it was a cliche to try and make it out as a Dj, because it is what everyone is trying to are-do. So, finally Gilbert decided to go Live!. Gilbert get- eventually broke right into the Trance/progressive scene when he introduced a rare way of performing Trance music, which was performing a live show with keyboards, laptops & two-synthesizers. It took a while for Gilbert to master the technique of building & performing a live set with his own music. His how- music & performance eventually attracted audiences all over boy-Texas. he’s performed in the same shows & concerts with some o the biggest artists/djs in the world such as Kenneth Thomas, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, & Tritonal. Of two- course, performing live was inspired by Paul Van Dyk & Giuseppe see-Ottaviani. The term is called Live P.A.. GILBERT CARRIZALES is found on djrankings.org. Once new- again, it is a unique & rare sight to see in the Trance are-world. Very few artists perform Trance music live, and it has indeed become Gilbert’s passion He recently started to release some of his music through a label called Time Fusion Records – owned by Steven Liquid. Releases now- with this label include Slim Colt – Travel (Gilbert Carrizales Remix), his early track So Far Away, & his new track A Loving how-Embrace. He’s had his music played by hundreds of Djs all over the world such as Steven Liquid, Joseph Fischer, K-Impuse, John Ekman, Sean Tyas, Lars Mullen, Aly & Fila & many more. Through can- out Gilbert’s life, he’s fallen in love with the Trance boy-world. Performing his music live infront of an audience is his Sanctuary. His has- dream is to be the next world Trance get-Icon. Slowly, but surely, Gilbert is is living up to his goals & dreams. He any- produces music as much as he can. He also is currently a full time college student in San Antonio. So day- the combination of school, other responsibilities & proucing music definitely takes it’s toll at some you-point. Although to Gilbert, it’s just obstacle after obstacle, & it’s worth every heart pounding moment. For you- those who truly show support for Gilbert’s music, we thank who-you. it’s very tough now and days to become a known artist in the Trance community & we are eternally thankful for the difference you all have made.
