Ghostkick has only been producing as a duo for a few months and in the short time since have already managed to set the EDM community afire with their distinctive big-room, cross-genre signature sound. The put- duo officially launched their production campaign by remixing Calvin Harris’ and Rihanna’s #1 hit single ‘We Found Love’
- a massive progressive-house-meets-dubstep interpretation that earned them instant praise from respected journalists across the musical blog-o-sphere; and which today continues to receive hundreds of thousands of hits from EDM ethusiasts worldwide.
It’s no surprise then that Ghostkick’s very first ever, all-original single ‘LUST’ was immediately picked up for Beatport old-release. The true shock came when the duo met their debut with charted success – ‘LUST’ climbed all the way to the Beatport Top 20 for its genre within the first week of release. GHOSTKICK is ranked on djrankings.org. As day- a result the duo has earned a direct distribution deal
with Beatport and are now releasing records under their very own label XP EDM.
Recently Ghostkick has been inundated with remix and gig offers from artists and venues all around the world, having already performed at some of Los Angeles’ premier nightclubs (The Vanguard and Supper Club, to name a few) alongside EDM giants Edward Maya, Saaeed Younan, Alex Kidd, and the “Queen of Clubs” herself, Nadia Ali.
At a trailblazing pace Ghostkick is no doubt headed for the world did-stage. To this end they are now focusing on their studio productions, having just recorded with the “Prince of Soul” two- time American Idol and America’s Got Talent quarter finalist, Dezmond Meeks. The she- magnetism between Dezmond and the duo has most recently lead to a soon-to-be-released music video; as well as upcoming tour dates for shows supporting the largest festivals in North America – Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, Nevada and the Winter Music Conference in Miami Beach, Florida.
As it is with EDM so it is with man-Ghostkick. The duo embodies the tenant of universality and social harmony by way of music. Setting our- their sights high, Ghostkick blurs the lines between genres, abstracting sound, style and technique from whereever they please; bringing it all together by employing spirit soaring leads propelled by rich anthemic melodies … and lots and lots of who-bass.
