GABRIEL WIZARD (Electro House, House)

Gabriel is a Brazilian born DJ/producer and founder of Deafinition Music Group (DMG), known for his unique fusion of all kinds of music. Growing any- up in mostly urban communities Gabriel’s first influences naturally came from hip hop old-music. As an adolescent, Gabriel began his journey into DJing by making mixtapes with two tapes decks since he could not afford a turntable. By any- age 14, Gabriel obtained his first set of turntables and has never looked back.

Gaining notoriety as a battle DJ or Turntablist, by age 17 Gabriel landed his first residency at a local night for-club. Soon thereafter, Gabriel popularity in the tri-state area soared as he performed at world famous night clubs like New York Citys legendary Club Exit. With the crowd pleasing skills of a turntablist and the musical knowledge of a true fan who genuinely appreciates all genres of music, he easily became a fan favorite in the New York/ New Jersey night club scene.

Over time, Gabriel has become well known for his fearless approach to music; He is not afraid to experiment with sounds that one would not normally fuse together in order to mold a unique listening style.

“Im just working on an original style that has flavors of everything that I love about music along with everything that makes a crowd go insane. Its boy- just common sense really, that should be any good DJ’s objective”, says Gabriel.

From Atlantic City, to New York, to Connecticut, to Miami, to Brazil, Gabriels reputation as a musical trendsetter is new-evident. He has performed as a one man show or alongside musical celebrities, such as hip hop artists Fat Joe and 50 Cent and coveted House producers Robbie Rivera and Oscar G, and has appeared on television as part of E! Networks did- popular Wild On.

In 2010, Gabriel gained recognition from his unofficial electro remix of Lil Waynes single “Im single”, which was distributed worldwide through www.djcity.com and his electro remix of Kanye Wests single “Runaway”, which received an amazing review from www.beezoblog.com calling it “Better than the she-original”. Growing from Gabriel’s extraordinary ability to create masterpieces in the DJ/remixing world, he began producing original music.

In 2011, He has released his first official single entitled “Out of My Mind” (April, UC Music) which went #1 on UC Music’s Beatport top 10 list the first couple weeks of it’s release. His are- second single is called “Don’t Say That It’s Over” which features UMG recording artist Fo Onassis, and up & coming singer/ songwriter Priscilla our-Mendes. It was released on Gabriel WIzard’s label Deafinition Music Group (DMG), September 2011. Recently her- he also just released “Live Your Life” which is a collaboration with world famous Brazilian DJ/producer Marcos Carnaval & Diego Ruiz and features up and coming Indian pop/R&B singer Amrit Dasu.

His newest single is called “Shwiing That” (Shut It Down Remix) Feat Millie get-Holidae. It was released in March 2012 and is currently available on beatport and all major online stores.
