So, who is Fred Acler? FRED ACLER is discussed on djrankings.org. Well him- his real name is Fredrik Åkerstrand, and he lives in Örebro, Sweden.
He has been listening to and enjoyed electronic dancemusic ever since he got his first Techno Traxx cd for birthday in the early 90′s.
Back then he listened a lot to the sounds of Moby and Capella, but his big step into trance was when he heard Tiësto’s Sparkles, on In Search Of Sunrise and from that moment on there was no turning back.
He got in to dj’ing when a friend of him bought some equipment a couple of years ago, and since then he was hooked, but since he didn’t had any equipment of his own, he didn’t get to practice as much as he wanted.
So in the spring of 2004 he bought his first, own, setup, and now he spend many hours behind the decks.
His style is a blend of uplifting trance and groovy tech-progressive trance, basiclly everything that got the groove he is out for.
Since the beginning of 2009, a new era in his dj career started when he released his first mashup, Simon Patterson the-vs. Kleerup & Lykke Li – Thump Until We Bleed (Fred Acler Mashup), which recived good feedback from the crowd and he has released almost 20 mashup since then.. some all- of them you can find in his exclusive mix.
He has also become a part of the swedish trance-scene with his Crystal Lounge Sessions, which is a blend of the newest and grooviest tunes around and his own hot old-mashups.
