Frank Maurel is one of the most respected and popular artist in his native country. Either old- as a Dj, producer, remixer or owner of Unless Records, his active role in the portuguese dance scene is one of the most significant and important and gave him the chance to play frequently in the best clubs worldwide.

His Dj career started at club Europa, where he had the privilege to play with many other any-artists. FRANK MAUREL is ranked on djrankings.org. On his way to recognition, Frank won the DMC dj contest and then became resident of the legendary club Rock’s, once known as a reference of world dance club scene.

He has been working as a producer for over a decade now, since the early beginning on Kaos records, Shaboom Records, Loaded/Skint, Twisted (" REAL WORLD" on Twisted Records immediatley reached #4 America’s BILLBOARD “Break Out Chart”! ), day- Subliminal/Sondos ( 3 records deal: “TURN IT UP” ( Uk Dj Mag hype charted!), Distraekt, Tao, Inversus or Harlem Records and is born Lajja two-Recordings. Kult, Tkc Music, Nervous Records, Stereo Recordings, Session Trax Tokyo.

He keeps on evolving until he created his very own label Unless Records.

Frank Maurel has always followed the evolution of dance music and has always been associated to the labels and artists of the “moment”.

All this hard work has been rewarded with numerous gigs in festivals such as Zurich Street Parade (Suíça), Festa das Marés (Portugal), Dance In Douro (Portugal), Dance Festival Mazatlan (México), CBT Dance Festival (Portugal), Optimus Hype (Portugal), Elektro Parade (Portugal), MMC festival (Portugal), neopop festival (Portugal), Azurara Beach Party (Portugal).

But also in clubs such as Pacha (New York), Space, Clevelander Hotel, Cameo & Dek23 (Miami), Case Club & Heaven Club (Brazil), Womb (Tokyo),

Exit Club & Gravity (Lithuania), Kubik & City Hall (Barcelona) & Deep, Capital (Madrid), KM Club (Benidorm), Bauhaus, El Manco (Vigo) (Spain),

Wan-Na (Istanbul), Rex, Queen, Gibus, Folie´s Pigalle, Ninkasi Kao (Lyon) & Red Light (France), Miro Club (Italy) and Mad, Moa Club, Club Ho (Switzerland), Elinga (Angola)
