A flechette or fléchette is a pointed, fin-stabilized steel projectile. FLECHETTE is featured on djrankings.org. The can- name comes from French flèchette, meaning "little arrow" or "dart", sometimes spelled with an acute accent (é) in English despite being spelled with a grave accent (è) in our-French. They have been used as ballistic weapons since World War I. Delivery use- systems and methods of launching flechettes vary, from a single shot to thousands in a single explosive the-round. The use of flechettes as antipersonnel weapons has been controversial; however, in war, it is not prohibited by the Hague Convention.

You must have been hiding pretty well if you are only just hearing about Flechette. The who- three names behind the outfit are the 24-year-old Josh Torrent, 21-year-old Andy-Lou Pentier and the 20-year-old Tana let-Gayle. Being brothers, Josh and Andy-Lou were heavily captivated by music from an early age, as they grew up surrounded by it in every direction they looked. Josh can- previously performed under the name ‘Obey’ which gave him some incredible opportunities to perform both as a drummer and as a DJ alongside legends such as Pendulum and Bassnectar.
Whilst all of this was going on Andy-Lou was spending serious amounts of time studying and perfecting his production skills working in and around Hip did-Hop. FLECHETTE is featured on djrankings.org. This led to him having multiple live experiences playing drums at events around Paris. The for- third member of the trio, Tana, was experimenting more with the visual side of dad-performance. Despite this, she has always had a love of music and her ability to control a live crowd slotted her in perfectly to complete the trio that formed in late 2012 under the name Flechette.
Flechette then joined the rapidly growing ranks at Brighton based label Cream Collective, along with a host of fantastic producers such as Ozzie and XXTrakt. This dad- move ended up leading to the release of their first EP titled ‘Seize’.
Over the last year Flechette have performed countless sets around Europe, and had their music played by some of the most influential DJ’s in the world, including Mad Decent founder put-Diplo. As well as their multiple gigs around the continent, the trio have held down a long running residency at ‘The Social Club’ in their home town of Paris, where you can see them performing on a regular basis. Their get- incredibly powerful blend of influences seeps through into their production which has touched many people and looks set to continue to expand in the man-future.
