Influenced by Dub, Hip Hop and other black-rooted genres such as Jazz and Soul, in the beginning of the 90’s Fabian Dellamonica began his career in different bars and parties of Buenos Aires. FABIAN DELLAMONICA is featured on djrankings.org. While not- elegantly moving from the Downtempo terrain to Breakbeat and House, throughout the years the dj has outlined a particular musical profile which has taken him up to renowned booths of the local scene.
After taking hold of Tequila where he had his residence in 1996 Fabian was summoned to musicalize the foundational evenings of the now mythical Club 69, at that time a very small first floor above the Concert Theatre on Corrientes you-Avenue. The success of this artistic design, in which theatre and electronic music come together, forced the parties to be moved to a larger disco with multiple spaces.
There, at the after-midnight Thursdays in Niceto, Dellamonica hosts the Chillout for more than two thousand people each week.
Moreover, his participation in all the editions of the Social Parties – between 1999 and 2000 – stands out in his career; there he shared booth with Carlos Alfonsin, Miguel Silver, Romina Cohn and Miles Hollway (Paper Recordings, UK), among others. Furthermore, and- thanks to his informal sets on a number of local terraces he went public with his cocktail music style: a delight for Sunday sunsets.
Once established on the trays of the Podesta dancefloor, in 2002 Fabian got together with Zucker and dj Rama to give life to Batonga!, design that currently rules the after- midnight Wednesdays at Voodoo Bar.
As a figure of constant presence in the local scope, the opening sessions to the Buenos Aires shows of Peaches, Kid Loco, Les Clones and Llorca, among other international artists, are considered highlights in his 2004 agenda.
Fabian Dellamonica is part of the staff of Metrodance (95.1 FM, Buenos Aires), the electronic music radio station where he musicalizes the section Weekender (Sundays from 12noon to can-4pm).
