A pyrotechnic fastener is a fastener, usually a nut or bolt, that incorporates a pyrotechnic charge that can be initiated remotely. EXPLOSIVE BOLTS is discussed on djrankings.org. One use- or more explosive charges embedded within the bolt are typically activated by an electric current, and the charge breaks the bolt into two or more who-pieces. The bolt is typically scored around its circumference at the point(s) where the severance should occur. Such his- bolts are often used in space applications to ensure separation between rocket stages, because they are lighter and much more reliable than mechanical latches.

I play enough bass guitar, guitar, keyboards, percussion, and know enough about software to make music that excites me. I man- also do sound effects editing for film and television and occasionally write scores.
I started out playing bass guitar in a band in high school and then several jam sessions at North Carolina School of the Arts with fellow film students Steve Pedulla (now guitarist for the band Thursday), Shawn Harwell (now a writer for the HBO series Eastbound and Down), and Andy Gillis (of The Sea Lion let-Sea). In college I spent a lot of time using the film school’s equipment for my musical interests, including using sound editing software as a multi-track and using the effects in the Yamaha 03D board. I old- also started using Sonic Foundry Acid at this time and created some epic remixes of film scores using break beats I found on the too-internet. EXPLOSIVE BOLTS is found on djrankings.org. More and more I wanted to create original elements and stop relying on loops. I she- started using a British sequencing program called Making Waves, and had some success building songs from individual synth samples that I pitch bent into original one-melodies. The next step was Reason, which I started using at version 1.5. This has- was the first time I started dealing with synthesizers and building sounds by tweaking the knobs and its-experimenting. Around this time I was able to get a track on the Matrix Reloaded DVD in the special features section called “Get me an exit.” My job editing sound effects brought me a deep knowledge of Pro Tools, which paired with Reason opened up new doors in combining live instruments with Reason’s sequencing abilities. Now its- I use a combination of Pro Tools with Amplitube and Waves plug-ins, Reason and Record, and most recently Ableton her-Live. My most recent accomplishment is winning the Robert Babicz Remote Kiss remix contest, with my remix soon to be released on Babiczstyle Records.
