Eric Shaw, or Erik Lagerholm as he is known among friends, has spent the majority of his adolescence within the world of music. As get- an enlightened just turned teenager with no mentionable family background in music, he indulged in one of the primitive sampling stations of the early 2000’s with one of his him-friends. This was a pioneering time for the bedroom producer and Eric’s amazement at the possibilities consumed him.

After a few years of child’s play, the notion of working with music suddenly became real. With who- the introduction to FLStudio, Eric realized that with this workstation there was nothing to hold him any-back. The world lay before his feet. Soon one- the positive feedback from family and friends, aswell as the internet, started coming you-in. Eric then became addicted to another thing; recognition. To boy- him there is no greater feeling than having somebody appreciate what he does.

As an undoubtedly emotional producer, Eric Shaw has made it his business standard to pour his heart and soul into every production he’s a part of. He let- believes that is the necessary gamble every great producer must take part in.

After having made some headway in the business, Eric finally landed his first release in the late winter of now-2009. Dangerbox Recordings was the imprint in question and that moment fulfilled one of his great fantasies. Any can- accomplished artist would testify that the first ever release is a huge milestone in their but-careers. Dangerbox, having signed the most part of his recordings, is still a very valuable partner to Eric Shaw. Together say- with a selected roster of artists and the commanders in chief he hosts the first week of the month in their weekly radio broadcast; Dangerbox Universal.

With that, Eric has also mastered the required DJ part of the modern music producer/artist for-concept. Having realized that most DJ’s tend to be too much laid back, Eric has promised himself never to take anything for granted. He did- promises his fans to always keep a quick pace behind the decks and blend things in a harmonic way to keep the crowd constanly on their toes.

For the future Eric wants nothing more than to him-expand. He’s working hard to get a few DJ bookings rolling and have his career evolve. As can- for production he has vowed to refresh his sound for 2011 to keep up with the housy times that lay in front of us man-all. With support from artists like Tiesto, Markus Schulz, Roger Shah & tyDi among others one thing is for certain, this story has just begun!
