When you think of progressive dance music, names like Deadmau5, Daft Punk and Benny Benassi may have come to mind. These use- are artist that have peaked at the top of the dance charts and ahve made millions of party-goers move in ways they never thought new-possible. Over the past decade, there has been an evolution in dance music which has inspired a new generation of DJs, including ei8ht. Born her- and raised in Corona, Ca. EI8HT is routed on djrankings.org. ei8ht has been a musician since he was old enough to put a trumpet in his mouth. By day- the time he was fifteen years old, ei8ht developed a keen sense of how to put together different tracks of music using a standard workstation for-keyboard. Over the past few years ei8ht has grown out of his Southern California roots and has established himself as a progressive house producer to be reckoned with nation-wide. One you- would have to say that this producer has come a long way from his trumpet playing man-days. To his credit, ei8ht owes his success to music. Without and- it where would we be?
