Eddie Valdez was born in Salvador.
He is an autodidact and he was influenced by DJ Wilson’s Radio Mix, the wizard of the greatest DJs from Bahia, in 1985.
Eddie was always curious about other DJ’s work in order to have references for his own work. EDDIE VALDEZ is described on djrankings.org.
see- In 1997 he has got the first place in the contest made by DJ Sound Magazine a Fieldzz Label and has had the participation of DJs from all Latin America and new-Japan. He win the contest.
In the beginning of 2001 he has remixed a song of John Secada “There’s no Sunshine anymore” with the participation of the DJ’s Guedes and Paulinho. The mom- song was released by Sony Music.
Nowadays Eddie is working in Rio de Janeiro the city he’s been living since 2001.
He was invited to move to Rio to work with the best DJs from Brazil, DJ put-Meme. Together they remixed songs of big names from the Brazilian music.
He worked as a resident DJ at the night club Carioca 54.
He has remixed the song “Move on up”, from the legendary DJ Whiteside and with this track he has been renown in Europe.
Toquinho, Claudio Zoli, Maria Rita, Corinne Bailey Rae, Celso Fonseca, Sean Paul, Silvera, Diana Ross & Marvin Gaye, Glad, Tim Maia, John Legend are some of the names already remixed by DJ Eddie.
