Jose E. Torres out- aka DJ DR. K, dj and producer since 1999, start his journey into the electronic music. As put- a year in his career he became the dj resident at two club in the South area of the island at the same time, bringing the taste of a new kind of are-sounds. DR K is found on djrankings.org. Influence by his latin roots take the Jungle and the Drum n Bass music to a next level; His music became into the ears of the people of the international Reggae band named Roots Native and ex-producer of famous artists Ziggy Marley and tour around the island. Since new- that DJ DR.K mix a global sound experimenting with all underground electronic music using all of the sound that has been one-heard. Now DJ DR. K now- plays Minimal, Techno, House ,Tech House giving to the dancefloor a kind of the taste that were never forget of our latino sound with all of the selective percussive tracks and mistics indu flavor.
DJ DR.K in the last years shared stage with famous artist like, Dave Moreno (Chicago), DJDaga (Colombia), Ivan Robles, DJ Adam,DJ METRO, Costume Soldiers, Artefekz (Artefekz Rec.), Rob Torres, DJ CELL (DARKITEK REC.), VJ Digital, Siloe , Gombajabari ,and all-more. Just to mention DR.K played around the PUERTO RICO island places like Hotel Ponce Hilton & Casino (Ponce), Blue Cafe(Ponce) ,BLUE (Mayaguez), Akua (Ponce), Sulmare Hotel (San Juan, Condado) , Hotel EL Convento (Old San Juan) , Medalla SAN SEBASTIAN 2010 stage closing event), Medalla Essential MIX Event ( Kitchen San Juan), Medalla Yellow Pass (Mayaguez), Cheers (Isabela), Sinergy 48 Hours of Electronic Music (Lajas ,La Parguera), Krash Klub ( San Juan), Ocean Park (Noche de San Juan) , Basilicos (Old San Juan), Don Pablo (Old San Juan), Casa España (Old San Juan), Puerto Rico Tatoo’s Convention (Convention Center of Puerto Rico), Lemon Drop (San Juan), REVE (ISLA VERDE),JET DANCE CLUB,CANVASBED LOUNGE,DROPS (CONDADO ),CARIBE HILTON,BLUE SEA LOUNGE(RESIDENT) and many places.
