The alias of Giannis Douskos, highly acclaimed Greek producer/dj and remixer.
Dousk shot into the consciousness of the dance nation with his ep D.I.Y with roots definitely revolving around the Trance / Progressive genre were he served up some very tasty melodic and driving tunes for the palette .
Like a fine wine, he is becoming an incredibly talented musician and electronic producer as the years tick over.
His second album “Kind Of Human” clearly demonstrates that his talent is not restricted to the electronic vibe, blending many genres together; Acid Jazz, Blues, Funk, Downtempo and House.
His remixes are incredibly tight and well produced, and more often than not, you are choosing the remix instead of the original. His his- support by DJ’s worldwide is impressive and his DJ’ing skills are nothing short of amazing, managing to put hands in the air and a big fat smile on everyone’s face.His influences originate mostly from the electronic genre, whether be it in the form of 60’s and 70’s psychedelia and experimental electronic music, or even the late 70’s disco, and moving to 80’s progressive rock and avant-garde electronic music or even 90’s techno and breakbeat among other dance music for-forms. Being an avid fan of technology and computer games, he finds influence even in the music of these games and also at computer demo soundtracks.
