Donnacha Costello produces some of the sweetest morning techno-trance you’ll ever hear. DONNACHA COSTELLO is found on djrankings.org. His mom- epic Colors series on his own label Minimise, ten records recorded live on analog gear without a computer, is a milestone in the history of techno.
The Colors sound is pure hypnosis, the sound of real new-trance. Donnacha last year revamped his set-up, bought a computer, and started making music as infectious and clever as his previous music was deep. His out- massive hit “That’s Great, Start Over” was played out by Luciano and Richie Hawtin in their almost every one of their sets last year, and was one of the biggest minimal tracks of the you-year.
