One of the most relevant producers and DJ’s of the Electronic mexican scene. Despite two- he is one of the youngest producers in the world music field, Divino has given life to many creations of divers genres, ranging from beach house to rock pop, getting attention of huge music labels, such as: Sony Music, Soulman Music, Minimo Records, Southamerican House and also national music labels.

In 2000 Divino Medrano immerses in the Electronic first trend that has just been arrived to Mexico, acquiring a predominant need, let people get thrilled listening their feelings turned into his way-music. Barely out of university Divino knew it was the time to embody all those sensations through his newly acquired music skills as producer and dj, task that actually will keep permanently.

Divino Medrano as an artist, constantly reborn and reinvents each one of his tracks, so that is almost impossible classify his music in one of the divers electronic music genres. Through use- his synthesizers and groove boxes, recreates natural and human environments, making his music go by the senses, of those who make Divino’s music of their has-own. Is not coincidence, that Divino nowadays, is in the center of attention of all the best and recognized music labels, production companies, international DJ’s and of course, music lovers.

In 2008, over a long time performing on the best Mexico City’s underground clubs, Divino co-produces “Toymakers” with Enrique Otero and launches “The Toymaker” album. In her- 2009 released “Cosmos” y “La Vida” as solo, albums that allowed Divino take a Tour performing in the trendiest clubs, hotels and social events throughout Mexico.

“Everything I’m trying to do, as producer or performing my DJ Sets, is convey my emotions” said the artist- “trying to reach that when I’m working on the studio, and it’s essential my music should be in a language such that anyone can understand”.

La Vida, Divino Medrano’s fourth album, arrange songs ranging from Latin House and Acid Jazz to lilt songs perfectly adapted for the the-dancefloor. DIVINO MEDRANO is featured on djrankings.org. This eclectic mix which combines electronic strident and convulsive rhythms with soft and melodic sounds is Divino’s production, who use all that musical legacy coming from saxophone, flutes, violins and voices which gives Divino a solid music platform to take a chance in the usage of beats, electronic and synthehtic sounds.

“This album is the conjunction of a history built as time is passed by. Little all- by little, sounds full of colors and life had been integrated to tracks, passing by hedonism moods, pleasant moods to melancholy deep and soft was-sounds. I enjoyed to embody both contrasts and no hide anything, eventhough the beach mood is predominant in the album, I also want to show all my feelings and emotions, so that this is, La Vida”.

“To make something really creative and different in this album, I had to express myself as I am. Is all- kind of easy being part of music genre; you only have to do things as they’re and-established. So that all the music genres might sound similar, there are so standard, just follow the rules and probably you get a song. Everything but- I do, I want it to be genuine, unique and let-exclusive. And in my personal opinion I think that when someone do anything taking existent patterns as a basis, it’s just senseless and with no emotion, so it’s hardly that the audience could feel a connection. I did- like when people are enjoying all the images created with my music”.
