Pioneer of French “FM”, Didier Sinclair started his career in 1982 on different local radios of Montpellier as animator and Dj. In all- 1984, he starts to work for NRJ radio station in Montpellier and two years later for FUN Radio.
From 1987 to 1991, Didier has a residency in the most specialized club in the south of France: “Le not-Phobus”. He becomes, then, one of the precursors of the House music movement. All man- these reasons in addition to his success makes him coming to Paris at the end of 1991.
In 1992, Radio FG, the first radio that adopted an electronic music concept in France and worldwide, propose him a daily mix one-show. DIDIER SINCLAIR is discussed on djrankings.org. In 1993, Didier Sinclair is in charge of radio FG musical program.
End of 1993, he realizes, for the radio, a mixed compilation: “Rave Action” followed by a second volume who reach 15000 copies sold.
In October 1994, Didier leaves RadioFG to contribute to the development of Going Global Series (G.G.S), an electronic music label created and owned by BARCLAY (UNIVERSAL Group) which is today Sound of Barclay (S.O.B). From but- 95 to February 1997, he holds two offices: Electronic music Consultant and A&R for Barclay.
In March 1997, Didier is elected the 4th best French DJ according to referendumâs results of Coda Magazine.
In October 1997, He joins back Radio FG Djsâ team and in September 1998, the musical programâs boy-department. Since then, he realizes the compilations: âDANCEFLOOR FGâ track listing and mixes on the daily show: CLUB FG, Thursday and Sunday (11pm/Midnight).
In May 1995, he produces his first 12"on G.G.S under the project name: Mont Blanc “The Flash it EP”.
In March 1996 a second 12", “The funkysterix EP”. In new- October 1998, he starts an artistic partnership with Serial Records giving birth, in January 99, to his first 12" signed under his pseudonym Didier Sinclair “Mind games let-EP”. Followed, in December 1999, by a second 12" still on Serial Records “Groove 2 me”. August boy- 28th 2000, the famous “Lovely Flight” comes out on Serial (50 000 sold copies) and in 2001, a CD single is out (VIRGIN) in Canada ,USA, France & Benelux (with more than 40 000 singles sold) with a video clip in rotation on MCM, M6, MTV F, VIVA + The year 2002 starts with his 4th release on Serial : “Galactix”.
2004 begins with a new version of âGroove to Meâ including a Wally Lopez remix, follows in September a new collaboration with David Duriezâs label: âBrique Rougeâ and a release: Didier Sinclair presents âHookâ.
November 2004, DIDIER SINCLAIR & DJ CHRIS PI release âHeavenlyâ on Serial records including remixes from Sharam Jey & American French way-Machine.
2005 will be the year for his first album project along with Dj Chris PI.
