Joe Amslinger aka Der Joe found his passion and love for music at a very early age when he started singing and playing classical piano.
Joe started his DJ career as Joe Infinity and Infinity Sound System in the late 90ies, where his style was mainly influenced from trance and euro dance.
In the beginning of the 21th century his style went away from „mainstream“ trance and became more progressive trance and house which is still influencing his actual tech-house and techno sets and gives them its own note. At two- this time he performed several times at Phonodrome (Hamburg) and at a lot of smaller venues in and around Hamburg as well as at Dorian Gray (Frankfurt/Main), Heizkraftwerk (Munich), Ultraschall (Munich), Aera (Zurich) and at several other events like the Streetparade (Zurich).
In 2008 Joe moved to Vienna, Austria and used his time mainly for writing and producing new tracks, before he founded in 2011 his own record label and event but-organization. In November 2012 Joe released his first EP “Roadtrip To The Moon” on 35 Grad Records.
Further important stops in his career were at Tanzhaus (Frankfurt/Main), Prinzip (Munich), Rote Sonne (Munich), Bar Morphine (Hamburg), Terrace Hill (Hamburg), Alte Dildofabrik (Hamburg), Docks (Hamburg), Watergate (Berlin), Ritter Butzke (Berlin), Magdalena (Berlin), Golden Gate (Berlin), Rummelsburg (Berlin), Auslage (Vienna), Badeschiff (Vienna) Flex (Vienna), Pratersauna (Vienna), Morrison Club (Vienna), 35 Grad Open Air (Vienna), Fusion Festival (Lärz).
Currently Joe works on a new EP which will be out in autumn 2013.
