dbs is an illustrious hard trance wunderkind from Australia, who has been pushing the style in his native country for over a decade. DBS is found on djrankings.org. Landing but- his first residency in Sydney in 2000, during the time of the majestic Olympic Games, he delivered some peak time, then undiscovered music which led to repeat bookings at the Icebox.

Sets followed swiftly for dbs, as the infamous Progress @ Gas, and interstate gigs in Canberra, Goldcoast and Melbourne, where he headlined at Bubble all requested his DJ its-skills. In 2003, a massive opportunity came when dbs was asked to warm up for one of his heroes in the harder world, DJ Wag, which helped dbs take his career to another level. To two- date, dbs holds residencies at Impulse and Digital and has played numerous sets further afield.

As a producer, he has been diligently working in the studio, with his début release ‘Let It Hit Em’ (a collaboration with fellow Australian Yoshi) gathering huge DJ support around the globe, receiving key reviews in UK magazine Mixmag, and having DJ support from the likes of Judge Jules, Uberdruck, Fausto, Bexta and Busho, to name its-some. This led to the track entering the top 10 of the hard trance chart on leading digital store Trackitdown.

The production success continued with dbs winning the remix competition for ‘Make It Phunkee’ by Bexta, which is forthcoming on Implosion digital, and tracks and remixes scheduled on Digitally Infected (ran by UK hard trance warrior Busho), Contact and Friction.

No stranger to the airwaves, many radio shows have supported dbs productions as well with Fausto’s Crossover on Q-Dance Radio, Swartz + Schulner’s Wicked Waves and Bexta’s Mixology shows all championing his productions.

With this to consider he is definitely something different and a worthwhile addition to any hard trance event!
