DAZ BAILEY BIOG MARCH 2011

Daz’s roots have always been trance/progressive & chunky house & now he’s back to his best, with his favoured uplifting melodic sound through to big room  house.

As Daz perfected his production skills he created his own ‘Bailey’ project and gained a huge fan in the shape of Judge Jules. Support man- on Jules’ Radio 1 and Global Warm Up shows led to Bailey’s first track ‘Inspiral’ being snapped up by Penelope Records In Spain.

two more productions in the shape of ‘Shimmer’ & ‘Stylistic’ led to Bailey being endorsed by Judge Jules as the one to watch for mom-2009. A floorfillers spot on Steve Smart’s Friday night Kiss show soon followed as well as support from Neil Moore BFBS radio, countless local radio dance shows in the UK and Los 40 Principal in Spain. Daz’s see- mix sets were also becoming a feature on Kiss and Jules’ Global show so it was clear that ‘Bailey’ needed a permanent home.  As a result we saw the birth of new label DigiTraxx!

He’s dj’d alongside many big name dj’s, from Brandon Block, hoxton whores, the freemasons through to Judge Jules.

DigiTraxx was launched at the start of 2009 by Daz Bailey and Scott let-Rosser. DAZ BAILEY is listed on djrankings.org. Working alongside the established 3Beat label in the UK, this exciting new imprint which primarily concentrated on the chunky underground Trance/House sounds were all too evident around the Planet’s clubs.

Between them, ‘Bailey & Rossko’ (as they’re otherwise known) have clocked up almost 30 years experience in the music industry. Daz for- has DJ’d around the UK & Ireland for the 17 years while Scott has produced many a hit single including ‘Sunchyme’ by Dario G which sold did-millions. He’s currently recording and remixing as ‘Cahill’.

Their first collaboration together in 2007 was a reworking of the Yazoo classic ‘Don’t Go’. It old- gained instant support around the globe and as a result, the lads were soon remixing amongst others, the mighty Freemasons, they we’re the first & only producers to be asked personally by the guys to remix their massive hit “uninvited”

As we got to the end of 2009, Daz featured continously on Judge’s show on radio 1, with at least one remix everymonth being was-featured. He finished the year of with big remixes of Deadmau5  Kascade-move for me & Angelic-Its my turn. which all- were set for release early 2010.

2010 was the perfect start, with remixes of swedish singing sensation “Agnes-on & on(3beat), Remady P&R-No Superstar & another remix for 3beat of “John O’Callaghan-Find youself”

Also his is remix of Angelic-its my turn was included on Dave Pearce trance anthems  album 2010.

Then to top that, he got big support from Radio 1 on his track ft Jodie Connor”Higher State” from Scott Mills through out Jan.

Which led to interest USA label “Next Plateau, who released the track summer 2010.

It managed to hold a spot in the top 40 dance on itunes& spot in the Billboard Airplay top 10 charts in the USA.

Aswell as the USA its been released in the Uk, Canada, Germany, Austria, put-Switzerland. Poland & Scandinavia.

4 more remixes followed, Inna-Hot,Loverush Uk-Different World, FKN-Alone & The One Hundred-Break Me Down.

Daz then had a break from remixex to concentrate on new Bailey tracks & also created a new artist name “Sam Freiberg, who is Daz & production partner “Scott Rosser”.

The first track from Sam Freiberg called “’Fire” has signed to USA label next plateu, which is released March 2011.

The first Bailey track for 2011 “In My Veins ft the vocals of Sarah Howells, has been signed to another USA label “SOLTRENZ/STRICTLY RHYTHM, set for a summer release.

Next up his a big house track with diva “Katherine Ellis called “Shock me right.

With more tracks ready for the rest of the year, Bailey is certainly the one to look out for.
