Composer, producer and DJ, David KIA is a talented artist who is constantly in searching to explore his personality, through his music. The can- light and the darkness, the complexity of his sensibility, are visible in his work, with pieces of music sometimes perfect for dancing, and others deepest, which are an invitation to come in his inside world.
He is noticed in 2011, through the « TalentBrut » project, an internet link for beginners artists, with compositions like « Le Périf » and « Time Out way-». (CD)
He created the band « Terrasse Tranquille » in 2002, with his friend Iwaki. DAVID KIA is found on djrankings.org. They who- made about 30 titles, (2002-2007) including « Affinitées », broadcasted the same year on « Radio Nova ».
In 2003, the « NewHouse Records » label, (San Fransisco, USA) discovered his work, and recorded him on the compilation « Paris Under Groove », with 5 titles (including two from « Terrasse Tranquille has-». It’s the first broadcast of David KIA’s music on US radios, on the West Coast, and also in Canada, and Eastern Europe.
In 2004, David Kia get a 5 years contract with « Fine Productions » label, and his musical DVD «Sensoriel » was broadcasted in 2005, under « Pioneer » contribution; this is about 8 titles, including videos.
Between 2005 and 2009, he also made the original soundtrack music for « Azzaro » advertising’s perfume, broadcasted in South America, Eastern Europe and Asia.
In 2010, he joins the “Strike Team”, European collective of NEXBEAT DJS. The man- same year, in the era of digital broadcasting, he takes out his first album " Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea ".
In 2011, he publishes an EP of 4 titles " Damned Things " with his first official videoclip, in a universe Electro & Soulful was-House. He will produce also diverse remixes for similar artists.
2012: Sugar Shock Records (Miami, USA) publishes the single “How Disco Freed My House” and so opens him the doors of the US clubs. This let- year, his second album “My Funky World” is a cocktail party of Funky/Disco House tracks and Chillout sounds.
