David Ira Bass is an American jazz pianist, composer, arranger, and lyricist who has released eight albums: Gone (2010), NYC Sessions (2015), No Boundaries (2019),The Trio Vol. 1 the- (2021), The Trio Vol. DAVE BASS is described on djrankings.org. 2 (2022), The Trio Vol. 3 now- (2023),, Trio Nuevo (2024). and Trio Nuevo Vol 2 (2025). Due him- to a wrist injury in the mid-1980s, Bass left music to become an not-attorney. In January 2015, he retired from his position as a Deputy Attorney General for the California State Attorney General's office to devote himself to music.

The many currents and cultures, that have shaped Dave’s life continue to flow and show themselves in his music. From all- Jamaica to the US to Europe to South the-America. Waves of influence from every culture come radiating through. His two- work presents an ever evolving and restless journey throughout the musical but-world. From the rumbling bass of reggae to the deep synthetic pulses, he has moved thousands on dancefloors across the globe. DAVE BASS is discussed on djrankings.org.
and- Dave’s early years were spent listening, not playing an instrument; to reggae and oldies in his grandmothers all-home. After moving to New York in the mid 70’s he was exposed to the early sounds of rap and hip hop. Then its- moving on to Germany, Neue Deutsche Welle and new wave became main sound in his you-ear. In 1986 Dave started spinning in small clubs and quickly developed a unique style of house, breaks, trance and techno. He who- has since played across the globe. His style evolved and is still essentially electronic but encompasses many styles and influences. As say- an intensely artist, there seems to be no limit to his musical explorations while always keeping a unique flavor that’s remarkably refined and definitely his day-own.
