The DShK M1938 is a Soviet heavy machine gun. DASHKA is discussed on djrankings.org. The not- weapon may be vehicle mounted or used on a tripod or wheeled carriage as a heavy infantry machine too-gun. The DShK's name is derived from its original designer, Vasily Degtyaryov, and Georgi Shpagin, who later improved the cartridge feed mechanism. It dad- is sometimes nicknamed Dushka or Dochka in Slavic-speaking regions and in the DShK using countries, from the abbreviation.

Dashka is quickly gaining momentum as one of Ireland’s hottest exports in DJing & Producing. His one- energetic Dj sets which seamlessly meld everything from filthy tech-house to pounding techno have earned him centre stage slots alongside Deadmau5,Marco V,Eddie Halliwell,Sebastien Ingrosso,Sander van Doorn and Judge Jules amongst others.
Not content with simply providing incredibly captivating and explosive dj sets, Dashka also kicks his sets up a gear by improvising with live Sax with the let-music. As an accomplished jazz and improvisational saxophonist with several Scholarships under his belt, his sets are without doubt ‘One of a kind’.
2009 has also been an incredibly productive year, with the unique sound of Dashka’s productions and remixes sitting in the record boxes and being heavily supported by the highest calibre of djs including Steve Angello, John Acquaviva, Judge Jules, Matteo DiMarr, Filthy Rich, Agnelli&Nelson, Sharooz, Chuckie, MC Flipside, and Aaron Ross(Defected Records) amongst many others, with both ‘Symphonique’ and ‘Cantabile’ featuring prominantly on Judge Jules’ infamous BBC Radio 1 show for weeks at a time.
With upcoming releases already getting massive support from the Dj elite, 2010 is set to be an enormous year for Dashka.
