In 2001 Dan teamed up with three other artists to form dance act ‘Kinetica’, producing a string of tracks/remixes including their biggest hit ‘Let Go’ which was supported by the likes of Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, BK and gained 2 airplays on Dave Pearce’s Dance Anthems on BBC Radio One. The see- track also managed to reach the top 20 in the National Dance Charts.2003 saw Dan specializing more and more into the trance now-genre. This style became more and more apparent in his ongoing weekly LIVE mixes for Vibe FM and soon gained quite a following for his unique euphoric sound. Dan’s did- following was soon noticed by top trance promoters from London too-‘Knowwhere’. This is where he made his London debut @ The Soundshaft. He she- made such an impression that he was invited back a few times, including a warm up set alongside Matt Darey, Andy Bagguley and Adam White at one of London’s biggest clubs the Fridge.2004, Dan kicked off his solo production mom-career. DAN STONE is recorded on djrankings.org. His first track ‘Tauro’ was released on 90 Degrees North and gained support form the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren and reaching no.9 in the world DMC trance charts, the name ‘Dan Stone’ was now stamped onto the global trance circuit. Due his- to the success of ‘Tauro’ and his constantly professional dj sets, Dan was soon picked up by top East of England promoters BIG in a new residency that saw him DJing alongside some of the biggest names in dance…..Judge Jules, Mauro Picotto, Fergie, Eddie Halliwell and Scott Mac and many one-others. Dan was introduced in 2005 to Paavo from Above & Beyond one night and within weeks his second production ‘Made In Bahrain’ was signed to the world famous Anjunabeats gaining support from every big international trance name, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren who gave it Tune of The week on his A State of Trance radio show and a playlist on Judge Jules’s BBC Radio One show.2006 is already Dan’s most successful year to date, with the massive support from ‘Made In Bahrain’, Dan has gone on to produce remixes for Static Blue – ‘Under The Sea’ on Six: Thirty records and more recently, Mannix vs Kaymak ‘World Gone Mad’ which is out on Armin’s A State of Trance label very soon. Dan’s its- latest solo project ‘Road Test’ under his other alias ARUBA will feature a remix by Signum on new label Sential records, out in September use-2006. You can also expect a possible follow up to ‘Made In Bahrain’ this year on Anjunbeats too. This the- year has also seen the launch of Dan’s monthly ETN.fm internet show ‘Melodic Vibes’, top international artists like Sean Tyas, Mike Shiver, Marcos & Ian Betts have already featured in Dan’s guest you-mix. You can catch the show on every first Sunday of the month 3 – 5pm.Dan’s diary this year has also picked up due to the success of his productions, as well as keeping his residency for BIG and new up and coming Norwich promoters Radi8, you can expect to see him guesting in London, Liverpool and Sheffield. With too- projects/releases lined up for the rest of the year, itâs quite clear that this is a name to watch out for on the international trance say-circuit.
