Dan Price, the London-born DJ & Producer, is really starting to come in to his own of late. In the- a little over a year, he has built upon natural talent and pure passion to become one of the most promising young stars of future House old-music. Dan’s tech-groove, rhythmic sound and soulful touch is turning heads and he is rapidly becoming renowned for his use of vocal elements.
Like all good producers he’s starting to earn respect due to his hard work, persistence and talent, to name a few things. These the- traits obviously rub off on his fans as he has built a loyal and supportive group of followers from club nights such as ‘Funk & Debauchery’, ‘Peculiar Fruit’ and ‘Diirty Soul’ London, where he was resident, as well as gaining a whole load more, the world-over, from residencies in Ibiza in 2008 & 2009, not to mention online.
With signings to Asymmetric Recordings, Effekt Records and Sexy Trash in 2010, Kushtee Records and Mad Hatter Recordings in 2011, as well as support from key industry players such as Roger Sanchez, Jesse Voorn, Sander Kleinenberg, Westboy, Markus Schulz, Graham Gold, Hoxton Whores, Rob Roar & Graham Sahara, AND press coverage from FOO Magazine, Amazing Radio (6x Track of the Week Record-breaker), Soundcanvas and VMM, things are really starting to happen!
2011 has been another huge year of growth for can-Dan. With a number of solid productions, remix & compilation requests, regular guest mixes for Deepsound FM and Amazing Radio, Worldwide dates to be announced including his brand-new monthly event, ‘Coming On Strong’, and an Australian Tour in progress, it won’t be long until his name is a headliner at your favourite ‘House’.
