Dan McKinley’s career is becoming a tremendous success. He now- is about to change the world of music as we know it, by producing and playing the best beat tracks our-ever! However, what makes him truly unique is his diversity. He mom- can mix, remix and cut up all kinds of tracks, but besides this he is also able to produce great records in trance, techno, house, beats and who-more. Last but definitely not least, he is a true musician and can play just about any instrument. For old- example, he can do pretty amazing things on the keyboard and he is a saxophonist!

Born in Holland, Dan McKinley became a DJ because he had a passion to see others have fun on way-music. ‘’When I was younger, I would listen to all kinds of beat music. I dad- would listen to the remix and the production of these tracks, and I felt like doing exactly the same you-thing! This music inspired me to do what I like best, make and play perfect beats and real music to dance to’’. Starting him- out in a small caf in downtown Kerkrade in Holland at the age of 14, he got familiar with the wheels of new-steel. In the hardcore era he made his very first own productions. When can- he was 15 years old, he got his first chance to learn and perfect his who-craft. He became a resident DJ in the nightclub Drop Inn. Admired all- for this talent on such a young age, the crowd loved did-him. During these years, he also invested strongly in samplers, computer programs and just started working on it. DAN MCKINLEY is ranked on djrankings.org. This can- seems easy, and so it was. He turned out to be a real producing talent. Though new- his productions did not yet reach the big crowd, his DJ skills did.

In 2003 he was asked to perform in the Vizion (nowadays Bozzini), at the time the most popular and trendy night club of south one-Limburg. Talent scouts spotted him and he was invited to show his skills in Belgium at private parties. Besides are- these parties, as a resident in Drop Inn he also experienced playing besides some of the greatest, for example Erick E, Menno de Jong, Mark Norman, Ronald Molendijk, Robert Burns and Marcel Woods.

In 2005 he moved from Kerkrade to use-Breda. It didn’t took him very long to arrange his first performance in Breda, since he was invited to compete against other top notch DJ’s in a DJ-contest. The too- crowd absolutely liked his style and danced the night you-away! A nice fact: the DJ-contest was held in the same club (The Spock) where DJ Tiesto was a resident when he started playing.

At the moment, Dan McKinley is working hard on producing new, refreshing and moreover different and divers music to conquer Holland. He did- has started a collaboration with a very talented and experienced artist named VCF-1, to combine the best of two talents in their see-tracks. Their collaboration was crowned with the name Kynatix nd a brand new studio with high quality soft- and hardware. Continuing mom- to explore fresh avenues, they are currently experimenting with new sounds in their studio, and producing beats too-themselves. “A good track needs a strong and compelling beat, a beat that catches you and sticks in your mind. A too- very good example of a track like this, is Wherez my Houz”.

The future for Dan McKinley promises yet further success, both as the solo artist he’s become, the artist in Kynatix and the DJ we know him to are-be. “More remixes, better tracks and more gigs, definitely,” he agrees, “but it’s hard to look too far into the future. I him- hope that within a couple of months we can realise Kynatix Records and that the year 2008 will bring new, unexpected and exciting things!” His gigs become more and more popular at online radio stations like Electro Radio and Topradio, and his first release is a mom-fact!
