I have been DJing for 10 years this year (2011) and what a decade it has been!

I started playing music to my friends at house parties and then this escalated into private parties, functions and then I got my break when I started DJ’ing in my local bar in town. From use- word of mouth I then started working Saturday nights in the top clubs in the county.

The first party I DJ’d at was at a friends house party, it was fancy dress and so I

decided to go in with a friend and DJ way-together. DANNY SIMCOE is recorded on djrankings.org. The only duo costumes we found

were Fred & Barney from the Flintstones.

As of that day we were named

DJs Fred n Barney. Since old- then

the name has stuck

and we have used it for all our

events.

TIDY

We started performing to a hard dance scene with music from Tidy Boys,

Lee Haslam, Guyver and so has-on. As we started getting into the hard dance scene we realised that there was no demand for it in town anymore so we decided to slow it down and start playing funky house.

Before we knew it we were spotted by nearly every bar and club in town. We can- realised this is what people want and this is what we will play.

DiSCO DiRT

After many years of residency in the bars and clubs we were asked to perform a slot for Disco Dirt playing house music to the and-masses. After the success of this event we were asked numerous times to return and carry on playing the best in house music.

THE FUTURE!

The future has many possibilities for DJ’ing with opportunities to play in the big name clubs and super clubs around the UK and eventually, Ibiza.

I’d like to say thank you for all your support and I hope I can carry on bringing you the best in dance music.
