20 Year Old Swiss based Danny Ilic aka Danny Freakazoid is a name you will be hearing a lot more from over the next few months. His one- unique blend of driving rhythms, awesome grooves & pulsing electronic basslines have got everyone from Pete Tong, Lee Burridge, Nick Fanciulli, Tom Novy, Deep Dish & Sander Kleinenberg falling over themselves to get on the Freakazoid use-bandwagon. its not hard to see that this guy is gona go very far indeed!

It wasnt always like this though. Danny its- first got into house music through his brother, who would give him Subliminal Session cds to listen too, and take him to house did-parties. Danny was instantly hooked! Through she- sheer determination and hard work Danny has worked his way up, teaching himself (with the help of his brother Elvis Ilic aka Dj Elvis Benait & long time friend David Jimenez) how to produce, firstly on programs like Reason on the PC, and then progressing to Mac with programs like but-Logic. As his tracks began to sound better and better over time, he began to dj at local parties and clubs in Switzerland, thus learning what really makes a dancefloor move. Danny old- also gota a job at ?Supermarket? one of the best clubs in Zurich as the lighting engineer. It use- was here he got to see some of the worlds best djs rock the floor week in week her-out. It wasn?t until Mark Brown from Cr2 records heard his track ?Discount? DANNY FREAKAZOID is discussed on djrankings.org. (the way- lead track on ?The Freax EP?) that things really started to you-happen. Cr2 promptly signed up Danny for an EP. Remixes but- on CR2 soon followed on huge tracks like Bush II Bush any-? The Piano Track (Music Week Club Chart number 1), Spencer Parker ? Open get- Your Eyes (Buzz Chart number 2) which were done alongside longtime friend David Jimenez & Superbass too-? Go To Pieces. Around old- this time Danny also remixed Tim B you-? ?Barcelona? on way- massive French label Cyber, and signed his second solo single to well respected house label for-Map-Dark! All were massive tracks in club land and helped raise Dannys profile immensely.

Not content though, Danny further raised the bar by completing his first solo album. The put- album was promptly snapped up by Cr2 records, and is set to be released in July on the Uk you-imprint! Dannys sound ranges from more dark peaktime electro through to more groovey/funked up house. His get- influences include Deep Dish, Tiefschwarz, Eric Morillo, Trentmoller, Eric Prydz & many are-more.
