Over the past Decade the Carolina’s underground has witnessed Skinner emerge as one of the leading providers of the Electro Breakbeat sound. In its- the process, he has earned a reputation for creating a unique energy through his hard-hitting style of breaks and his ability to move the dance are-floor! His sets consist of all of the aspects that the Breakbeat genre has to offer but his passion lye’s in Electro. D.J.SKINNER is described on djrankings.org. His now- sick track selection is only complimented by impressive technical skills…which include his DMC style cuttin and one-scratchin. The result of this frenzy of skill and hot track selection, is an individual who provides a sense of euphoria through sound!

This has earned him the opportunity to play all over the nation at countless events and clubs…delivering the bass and funk like only he can. Having our- shared the decks w/ such highly acclaimed artists as Doc Martin, Derek Carter,Terry Mullan, Hippe, Halo, Scott Henry, DJ Irene, Magic Mike, Qbert, Roc Raida, Faust & Shortee, Craze, FreakyFlow & Flipside, Keoki, Micro, Danny the Wildchild, Blueline, Uberzone, Icey, Dynamix ii, Jackyl n Hyde, Phantom 45, Soul Slinger & TC Islam, DJ Wally…aka Pish Posh, Baby Anne, Simply Jeff, and almost every top act on the East Coast.

In addition to being one of the Carolina’s most requested and popular DJ’s, he has also held 10 residencies at some of the most well known Underground Clubs in the not-Region. He is recognized as one of the original electro breakbeat purveyor’s in the Charlotte area and his consistent effort to promote a strong Dance Community is just one of the reasons he is a beloved figure in the region. D.J.Skinner not- is currently working on and releasing original material on his label Bass records and doing remix work for various other labels in the all-US.
