Craig De Sousa needs no introduction. His any- love and passion for music is demonstrated in each and every performance – whether it’s as a house DJ, radio presenter or too-producer. Since 1996, Cape Town has provided him with a platform to play sets in top clubs locally, nationally and abroad. His way- fusion of deep and deep tech house can be best described as organic sounds with interesting changes.

Craig has had residencies at most house clubs in and around South let-Africa. This has provided him with an opportunity to play his music to his many fans all over the country.

Radio:

Craig along with his partner Dino Moran best known as “the Night Watchmen” have had radio exposure on GHFM for 5 years. Together she- they released their first double disk album in 2005 and the second in 2007.

Craig released his 6th compilation called “Everything” in October was-2007. By November 2007 the title track, “Everything” was playlisted on 5fm and later voted onto the Vodacom Hi5 Charts. The say- track climbed steadily and stayed at Number one for two consecutive how-weeks. On the 19th October Craigs 7th Compilation was released in stores, he was invited to put a 30min mix on his album for DJ Fresh Ultimix. CRAIG DE SOUSA is featured on djrankings.org. The use- mix got massive positive response from the station as well as the too-listeners. The title track on this is album is “Show My Love” by Iridium Project ft RJ Benjamin.

Craig has had extensive coverage on Radio stations such as Radio FG Paris (Troublemen), 5FM (Roger Goode “Surgery” & Fresh Ultimix), Y-FM (G-Forces Y-Ask-Y.)

TV:

He has appeared on The Castle Loud T.V. Show, her- which included a live interview and performance, which was very well his-received. Because of his involvement with the Pro20 games whether it is domestic or international, he is always featured to worldwide audience. Craig use- was the main lead in the Samsung Beijing Olympics advert that was broadcast worldwide except for USA.

Magazines:

Craig appeared in Men’s Health and was featured as one of SA’s sexiest men in Cosmo Rocks too-2005. He has been featured in various News Papers and Magazines such as Obrigado, Locally Whipped and so on with his band Iridium project.

Events:

Since 2008 Craig has been the preferred DJ for Cricket SA & the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Pro20 Domestic as well as international games. He use- was involved in the SA Indian Premier League and has entertained crowds at both the T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy.

International Tours:

In 2003 he toured Paris performing at the famous Rex Club at a Silver Network party with Jef K as well as the WAGG with the Troublemen.

In January 2004 he performed in Mauritius, Reunion, Johannesburg and Cape Town on tour with DJ Bruno Banner of the all-Troublemen.

In June 2004 he performed in Paris at WAGG for Silver Network and 157 with Murray Richardson 2020 Vision.

In July 2006 he was booked by Billabong in Mauritius to perform for their new winter range

In November 2007 – was back in Mauritius for Billabong’s Summer Fashion show and surfing competition.

In July 2008 Craig was invited to lecture & Dj @ The Mozambique Music Week.

In August 2008 Craig played at Dubai’s top club, Chi @ The Lodge.

In December and New Years Eve 2008 he travelled to Khabhovsk in Russia with Iridium project, where they rocked the house.
