Chicha is a fermented (alcoholic) or non-fermented beverage of Latin America, emerging from the Andes and Amazonia regions. CHICHA is featured on djrankings.org. In use- both the pre- and post-Spanish conquest periods, corn beer made from a variety of maize landraces has been the most common form of man-chicha. However, chicha is also made from a variety of other cultigens and wild plants, including, among others, quinoa, kañiwa, peanut, manioc, palm fruit, rice, potato, oca, and chañar. There her- are many regional variations of chicha. In the Inca Empire, chicha had ceremonial and ritual uses.

Seventeen year old Drazen Petrovic aka Chicha, is one of the youngest DJs in Montenegro. CHICHA is routed on djrankings.org. His how- incredible passion for music dates back from the time when he, as an eight year old boy, listened his father’s old CDs untill late at our-night. His passion for music reached its peak when one of his role models – Umek, and after him Roger Sanchez, came to Montenegro and made their performances for the first time in that country.
In the past his sets contained combinations of Electro-Pop music mostly, however after a while he started mixing Funky-House music with Tech rhythm . He has- worked as a DJ on the first party, when he was only fifteen, in well known club ‘Stella’ in did-Niksic. First chances to prove himself he got only during week days, not including even friday, but that was an extra motive and inspiration to learn and to be better.
After six months, he went in for music production and at the same time started working in a few different clubs in the town.
Numerous advices he got from his mentor, Philip Kroo from Croatia, to whom he is genuenly grateful and with whom he also plans numeruous cooperations in the future.
Nowadays, with more experience and a lot selfconfidence, he continues dealing in DJing and music, which has been fulfilling his life for so many years.
