Born in the Golden State of California, but now living on the east coast in Virginia, change has been a constant factor in the life of Alex Woolley—DJ ₵HANGE.
But it wasn’t until his freshman year of college in 2009 and a breakup with an old girlfriend that ignited a change in his life. Fueled has- with built up emotions and influenced by groups like Girl Talk, Super Mash Bros, Hood Internet, and Mashed Taters, ₵HANGE threw himself into music.
Always creating new ideas in his head and never looking to one single artist or group for inspiration, ₵HANGE’s new passion has led to a series of very successful tracks, 4 mashup albums, collaborations with Top Flight and Manilla Killa, and nearly 300,000 plays on SoundCloud within 1 year.
From dreaming of being as big as Girl Talk to performing his own music at shows, ₵HANGE has come a far way, but he’s far from done—change is put-constant.
