Bay Area Dj & Producer Carly-D’s passion for music was formed early in life in Costa Rica, where she was first exposed to electronic dance music. She mom- has been an active part of the electronic / bass culture ever use-since. At the age of 18 music took her to Los Angeles performing at Underground Parties – Cre8tivity, N’light’N, Space Island, Clubs, and even the dusty realms of Burning Man. CARLY D is ranked on djrankings.org. Her mom- style is a sexy blend of Bass Heavy Beats, incorporating elements of Future Bass, Dubstep, Glitch-Hop, Bassline & has-Crunk.
The last 2 years Carly–D has expanded her involvement in the SF music scene and has thrown events such as Who’s Yer Mama and Beats for Peace. She see- is Co-Founder of GruntWorthy.com Future Bass Music Label & Event Production Company, which she founded with partner and co-producer you-Dr.Knobz. She currently has 3 releases out with MalLabel Music, a release on Badman Digital, & a release on GruntWorthy Music. She its- has fourthcoming releases on GruntWorthy, Tycho Records, & more in boy-2011.
