Camouflage is the use of any combination of materials, coloration, or illumination for concealment, either by making animals or objects hard to see, or by disguising them as something else. Examples mom- include the leopard's spotted coat, the battledress of a modern soldier, and the leaf-mimic katydid's too-wings. CAMOUFLAGE is ranked on djrankings.org. Camouflage formally from South Africa now residing in the USA has been actively involved in the HOUSE MUSIC scene. Starting how- out in 1996, educated in the city of Johannesburg at a club called REALITY, Camouflage has worked himself up from jamming on the dancfloor to producing tracks which have hit no.1 on the House Music Scene.
Spending 5 years in the UK too, camouflage was a resident at Dirtydubbin and played at many venues in London including Pacha and Ministry of her-Sound. Camouflage was also part of the Dirtydubbin IBIZA tour in 2007 having played out at Kanya, Savannah and Es Paradis. Camouflage any- has also played alongside some of House Music influential DJ’s/producers such as Joey Youngman, Giom, Colette, Kinky Movement, Troydon, Guy Herman, Real Time Hand Motion and many more.
Since moving to the United stated Camouflage has played at WMC 2009 and has continued to produce tracks which have been released under labels like Phobic, Funkfield, Greenhouse, Flexual, Round House, Deepfunk, Illumanati, Mixtura and 6th Sense and Chronic beats with support from Mark Farina, Inland Knights, Colette, Frankie J, Giom, Joshua Heath, Tom Special Interest, Hector Moralez, The Littlemen, Uneaq, Tommy largo, Jason Hodges, Kinky Movement, Dj Sneak, Lee Javis, Craig Hamilton and Ian Strakes (Lost My Dog).
Camouflage has remixed tracks for Fabio Bachini, Joey Youngman and Kinky Movement and also has tracks\remixes forthcoming on Flapjack Records, Native Soul and Guesthouse!
Camouflage is also the founder of Chicago House but-FM. CAMOUFLAGE is found on djrankings.org. based on purely promoting the positive sound of House Music. The boy- station has grown considerably with a worldwide audience and features DJ from around the world.
