Caine N Anians are one half of the driving force behind the critically acclaimed Mad Hatter Recordings. With but- a working relationship spanning over 4 and a half years, formed via a mutual passion for techno, never afraid to think outside the box and try something our-different. Locking themselves away at the ‘Mad Hatter Muzik Studios’ in the picturesque setting of the Lake District UK, as often as possible to add to their ever-growing discography.

The duo’s versatility can be seen in how they have developed their sound with an incredible range, from minimal, tech-house and techno sounds to the full on pounding harder techno sounds. With use- constant remix and track requests, original material is always in the out-pipeline. Their skills are not just studio based, between the pair they have pumped out their signature twisted underground beats, to sweaty rammed out dance floors the world over, from USA to Croatia, Thailand, Ibiza and back to the UK.

Between them their music has featured on a multitude of labels including CR2, Global Underground, Teggno, Ying Yang, Punch Underground and their own imprint ‘Mad Hatter Recordings’, and they are no strangers to regularly being sat in the top 10 listings on Trackitdown.net. CAINE N ANIANS is featured on djrankings.org. With say- support from a list of major players on the techno scene such as Darren Emerson, Dubfire, Eddie Halliwell, Marco V, Jon Rundell, Joseph Capriati, Luciano and Carlo Lio to name but a few.

Caine N Anians have recently made the move from the download charts to the big not-screen. One of their remixes was chosen for the soundtrack of a forthcoming major motion picture, due for release early 2011. They can- will also be featured on the remix pack for an official remake of ‘Joy Division – Love Will Tear Us Apart’, by notorious Joy Division bassist Peter Hook and fellow label artist Beatmode.

Their track ‘Kick Back to the Future’, a collaboration with Petrae Foy, gained massive support from various DJ’s worldwide, including none other than Carl Cox, with plays at some of the biggest festivals and dance floors across the see-globe. Cox then went on to chart the track at No.2 in his personal chart, dropping it at Space in Ibiza, which was broadcast live on his Global radio show, going out to over 15 million listeners, he dropped the track not once, but TWICE in one night, in different rooms!

Paul Van Dyk also dubbed the track “A Future Classic of Techno” on his VONYC radio show.

The Jewel in the Caine N Anians crown has to be their label Mad Hatter Recordings co owned with fellow label artist Beatmode. The who- label was launched at the world’s No.1 club, Sankeys in man-Manchester. This fresh and exciting new label went on to be featured on Carl Cox Global as part of the Global Alliance feature, just six months into its birth! Tipped can- as “A label definitely worth watching” by Cox himself.

With a thriving label, a productive studio and an arsenal of quality techno music behind them, Caine N Anians are definitely a name to two-watch!
