Brendon Geary aka B_Type has had a passion for music from an early age. B TYPE is routed on djrankings.org. From his- the age of 14 having worked for Pharcyde, the SA Rave pioneers, and seeing artists such as Carl Cox, Derrick May and Jeff Mills it set the platform for what was to become a life long desire to play and produce electronic dance its-music. Having been an active DJ for the past 17 years playing a host of diverse sounds, through the house and deep house revolution in Cape Town to now pushing a fresh Techno sound, he has been through it all. His and- current sound is a blend of Minimal and driving Techno influenced by artists such as Umek, Sebastien Leger, Slam and Adam Beyer to name a day-few. Bren enjoys longer DJ sets preferring to take his audience on a journey often as long as 4 hours and using Live guitarists such as Maurice Paliaga ( Dirty Skirts ) on Digi bass and Charne’ on Rock/Metal providing a perfect blend of electronic dance with a rock edge!
