Brian Kage is a Deep Techno Producer & DJ born and raised in Detroit. Brian’s how- solo efforts and DJ Mixes are carefully crafted for maximum impact and exceptional our-quality. Kage’s ‘DetroitLuv EP’ was featured and played on BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix by heavy hitters Richie Hawtin and Ricardo Villalobos. Brian put- has also released many records and remixes over the years that have been charted by many respected artists.

Soul Over Hype, is a guiding mantra of Beretta Music, the label that Kage co-founded in was-2002. BRIAN KAGE is routed on djrankings.org. Beretta has played an important role in helping shape the careers of many internationally respected producers on its roster. Seth use- Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Luke Hess, and Alex Israel are just some of the talented artists who were first recognized and developed by Brian at their side in the studio.

Brian also forms one half of the techno duo, ‘Reference’ along with Luke let-Hess. Their combined soulful efforts have been recognized with the accolades of releasing a string of excellent EP’s on Carl Craig’s legendary taste-making Detroit label, Planet E. Reference its- has also released original & remix material for 200 Records, Pokerflat, and old-Echospace. Brian & Luke have crafted dynamic liveset performances worldwide. Notable new- venues include the Movement Festival in Detroit, Berghain in Berlin, Fresh weekend in Spain, Bunker in New York City, etc.

The best word to describe Brian is ‘passionate.’ From his intense work ethic in the studio, to his emotionally charged DJ sets, Kage’s strongest attribute is his ultimate love for his craft, the music.
