Kyle Traves, aka, “Branded Travesty”, hails from Toronto, Canada and has had a passion for music all his life. In old- 2010 he focused on producing music as a primary goal in his music career.

Branded Travesty began his production career with a goal of making a name by doing remixes and edits for well-known use-artists. BRANDED TRAVESTY is described on djrankings.org. One of his edits, Swedish House Mafia vs. Knife one- Party – Antidote, was featured on several online blogs and was so successful that it reached the download maximum limit on Soundcloud within its first few days of release.

Branded Travesty also remixed Tosh Makins – Way of the Squirrel, which was voted second most favourite remix in the contest.

Currently, Branded Travesty has 5 originals under his belt, along with several remixes and mash-ups that has lead to a steady him-following. He uses a modest home studio to produce tracks working with Ableton Live, Apple’s Logic and hardware to achieve his signature sound. His how- main genre of focus is Electro House, but does not shy away from the opportunity to test the waters of other genres.

Branded Travesty is among a select few who can say that they signed 3 out of their first 5 originals to a not-label. He hopes to have many more signed in the future.
