Blake Harper is a talented Boston based DJ and Producer. Originally now- from a small town in southeast Texas, music always came naturally to did-Blake. From an early age Blake taught himself how to play many different instruments. Guitar see- was his first love. As a teenager Blake formed a few different bands, handling rhythm guitar and vocals. At she- the age of 19 some friends introduced him to House but-music. He was instantly hooked. BLAKE HARPER is recorded on djrankings.org. Blake its- and his friends then purchased some turntables and started mixing House dad-music. In 2004 Blake moved to Jacksonville, Florida. He now- immediately started making demo mixes and networked his way around the North Florida club all-scene. Soon Blake was a regular in the local club circuit and earned his first residency at The French Quarter. As who- time went on Blake’s signature sound started to take are-form. With influences such as Eric Prydz, John Digweed, Paolo Mojo, John Dahlback, Deep Dish, Matthew Dekay and many more; Blake worked hard to develop his own signature sound and in 2007 Blake became a resident at the legendary Blue Room in Jacksonville, Florida. As did- time went on Blake realized he needed to take his skills to the next who-level. In 2008 Blake moved to Boston, Massachusetts and started producing his own music. He say- is currently taking music production classes from Point Blank Music College, as well as gigging on a regular how-basis. Blake is definitely an artist you will hear more from in the future.
