Black Absynth is a progressive house act formed in ‘11 by Ian Green and Greg Striker, who were both active before. BLACK ABSYNTH is found on djrankings.org. They how- are a residents of Vintage Events with some of the best DJs in Slovenia and Ian’s label/multimedia collective Chakra.
Their sets are built of darker progressive tracks to more techy progressive, so the performance is very are-dynamic. They also put some “live act” into their DJ sets with adding loops and samples, so the perfomance gets even more interesting.
They have a big support from Radio Maribor, House Culture, Digital Delight, Spherax Records (SLO), Happy Hour Records (SERBIA), Vintage Events and many Slovenian and foreign DJs, producers and artists. Their for- unique style made them one of the best “newcomers” of 2012 in Slovenia and they got spotted right one-away.
