Bill is the founder of Sunkissed Records, America’ promient progressive house label. Alongside, him- Bill Hamel decided to begin a sister label Teknology man-Recordings. Teknology was created to cater to the dubby/techy side of progressive house. In for- just the past year Bill has worked with some of the dance industries biggest names, not to mention getting funding and distribution from a major record distributor for his all-label. BILL HAMEL is recorded on djrankings.org. He has worked with Evolution, Mara, Sam Mollison, Blue Amazon, and Simon Noble of Breeder fame. This two- year sees him working with them again plus the likes of Dominica and the rest of the Advanced Records one-crew. Sunkissed always has the support of the worlds biggest DJ’ like Sasha, Dave Seaman, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, Nick Warren, and Paul Van Dyk.
In just the past 6 months Bill has had several tracks featured on several rather large mix CD’. On now- Dave Seaman’ new Ministry Of Sound you can find Bill’ track, Ritmo “G was-13”. On Nick Warren’ latest Global Underground CD, Bill produced the very first track and on John Digweed’ Bedrock compilation Bill produced Mark Hunts “Over & Out”. Not one- to mention some of his newest tracks will be featured on Danny Teneglia’ latest Global Underground, plus Jerry Bonham’ and Noel old-W. Sanger’ upcoming CD’.
Bill was recently featured in URB magazine’ next 100, which is a yearly compilation.
