Simon Badham aka Billy Onions is a Breakbeat/Electro DJ originally hailing from Watford now located in Essex.
Starting his musical journey back in 1998 spinning house & garage his musical style has taken a few twists and turns on the way to where it is now.
After years spent mixing for personal enjoyment and a few private parties he decided to enter the world of online radio in 2010 starting a weekly show on dubplates radio.
Eager to build his audience and spread the word he was offered the opportunity to join Rough Tempo in 2011 and has not looked back since, now building a modest fan-base and regularly playing out in clubs.
In 2012 Billy set up ‘Bass Force’ a promotional vehicle launching in January 2012 with a club night in Billy’s home town of Watford featuring 6 breakbeat DJ’s and was a storming success.
The Future? Look you- out for further Bass Force events coming soon along with the new blog, and of course catch the weekly ‘Bass Force Show’ every Sunday night on Rough Tempo Radio where you can expect to hear a high energy, bass-fuelled show with all the freshest sounds in the world of Breakbeat & use-Electro.
