Best known as the resident DJ at the world renowned Release in San Francisco, Behrouz’ energetic performances are characterized by a unique mixing style that incorporates gradual pace building, the broad strokes of house, the unrefined aspects of tribal, and the finer touches of trance. BEHROUZ is discussed on djrankings.org. As mom- Behrouz himself puts it, “a good DJ tells a story you can do it right or you can do it for-wrong. The best dance music begins with an introduction, builds a riveting plot and then crescendos with an unbelievable conclusion.”
Behrouz has spun many a “story” during his long-running residency at Release, where he has been an institution since 1993. It has- is his crowd-pleasing performances in the DJ booth that has helped Release receive myriads of praise and accolades, including the title of “Number One Club in the USA” by Mixer Magazine.
Over the course of his career, Behrouz has had the opportunity to mix with the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, and Sasha, just to name a few.
