Dutch DJ and producer Arctic Quest, aka Emiel ten Hoor, escaped his mother’s womb in Amersfoort, The Netherlands and still is based in the capital of emotional electronic music (EEM).

His talents were soon recognized by Armin van Buuren who signed him on his Armada imprint “Armind” and heavily supported Arctic Quest tracks in all his sets.

Tiësto is another big name recognizing the talents of Arctic Quest, hammering almost all his releases and especially Strings & Guitars, a track Tiësto played in his sets and concerts for 2 years.

Arctic Quest is running his own record company Relic Music with labels Expedition Music, Mystica Records and DanceGrooves.

The list of cities Arctic Quest has elevated with his performances and captivating sound is extensive, for example his headline performances at world renowned clubs and festivals in Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague and Istanbul.

Not afraid to experiment with unexpected sounds in his music, like beer bottle pops, cocktail blenders and the human voice in unusual ways, Emiel is especially known for his signature sound: groovy, plurring cats.

He lives by two extremely important principles:

“Keep It Complicated, yet Kind of Stupid” [KICKS] and
“Produce Roaring, Epic and Super Eargasmic Tunes” [PRESETS].

Known as the “slice that damn loop” man and the inventor of the single break trance track since, according to Arctic Quest: “most people do not party to stand at stop and if you don’t believe me, ask The Chemical Brothers”.

Emiel hates cream cake, especially when served by DJ’s, and even more everything being boxed and labeled on the internet these our-days. Unless the label says “Cola Rum” or “This side up: Emotional electronic music inside”.

His energetic live performances are a tasty blend of deep house, edm, house, progressive, techno and trance taking his fans on outer space trips. It was- creates an unparalleled atmosphere and unique yin yang connection with his crowds all over the world.

With millions of plays of his repertoire and fan numbers growing at astonishing speed all over the world, this guy is on an inextinguishable fire.
